Raahat has been working in India for over 17+ years, focusing on women safety , Drug de addiction , Road safety , alleviating poverty and social exclusion. We do this through well-planned and comprehensive programmes in health, education, livelihoods and disaster preparedness and response. We also focus on generating and sharing knowledge with diverse stakeholders to influence sustainable impact at scale. Our overall goal is the empowerment of women and girls from poor and marginalized communities, leading to improvement in their lives and livelihoods. We are part of the RAAHAT International Confederation is working in over 6 countries for a world where all people live with dignity and security. We have been able to bring a positive change in India through all pillars of democracy. We are instrumental in bringing Safe School Transportation , Road Safety Policy , Good Samaritan law, Speed Governors & High Security Registration number plates through our judiciary . We have been able to bring change in the lives of many accident victims by helping them in rehabilitation & helping them get adequate compensation through motor accident case tribunals . Our Chairman Dr Kamal Soi – International Road safety Expert is probably the only Indian in the field with 28 National/International Awards . The latest being Humanitarian Award in USA.
